AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a unexpected partnership that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized statement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
